I’m Kitty.
I’m a writer (and grief support specialist in progress) living in the north Georgia mountains. I have shared some thoughts on some things at Ministry Matters and am a featured essayist in Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It: Life Journeys Inspired by the Bestselling Memoir.
I received a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School and have served as a legal advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, a hospital chaplain, a library lady, and a sandwich artist. I currently work as Creative Program Advisor for Writing at the John C. Campbell Folk School and as Parish Administrator for St. Clare’s Episcopal Church.
Life can be hard and feelings can be messy so I spend a lot of time thinking about the ways we do (and don’t) tell our truth. It’s a privilege.
Welcome.
